Can you use HIIT for any form of cardio?

If you wanted to do HIIT while riding a bike, just make sure you change up to the hardest gear and pedal as much as you can for 30 seconds, followed by normal pedalling for 30 seconds. Rinse and Repeat for no more than 15 minutes. You can even skip with a rope if you prefer it to running, just apply the same rule of high and low intensity for half a minute a time!
